The detail page may include larger, or multiple, photographs, a description of features and benefits, and links to brochures and specifications.

The page can show various attributes such as colors and sizes, including seperate pricing to go with each. This feature permits a compact, easy-to-use catalog for customer convenience.

It may also include information about the item's manufacturer, availability to ship, and what constitutes a single unit.

Cross-links to related products within the catalog can be shown, providing cross-sell or up-sell opportunities.

After finding the item they want, customers may place it into their shopping cart for immediate purchase. They may also place it onto a personal shopping list for reordering products in the future.
